Transportation Options

from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to the Vancouver Convention Centre:

  • Skytrain – Canada Line

    The SkyTrain Canada Line connects the airport to downtown Vancouver. From the Vancouver Convention Centre, the closest SkyTrain station is Waterfront Station, a short walk away.
    Estimated Trip Duration: Approximately 30 minutes. 
    Estimated Cost: Around CAD $9.00 during peak hours including an additional $5.00 airport surcharge. 

  • Taxi

    Available outside the Vancouver Convention Centre, and they provide a direct route to the airport.
    Estimated Trip Duration: 25-35 minutes (depending on traffic). 
    Estimated Cost: CAD $35-40. 

  • Airport Shuttle

    Some airport shuttle services operate between major hotels in downtown Vancouver and YVR. While the Vancouver Convention Centre may not have direct shuttle service, nearby hotels often provide this service, so checking with them directly is recommended. 
    Estimated Trip Duration: 30-45 minutes.
    Estimated Cost: CAD $15-20 per person. 

  • Ride-Sharing​

    Estimated Trip Duration: 25-35 minutes. 
    Estimated Cost: CAD $30-40 (price may vary based on demand and time of day).
